My training was in HEAVY WELDING & FABRICATION BLOCK, comprising of 6 weeks in which I went through: 1.Different WELDING PROCESSES(mainly GMAW,GTAW AND CO2) performed on different power equipment like GBC,ROTOR etc. 2.In addition to that I went through the various NDT METHODS used in that department. 3.I also had an exposure of THE DEFENCE DEPARTMENT where the assembly of SRGM(Speed Rapid Gun Mount)was conducted.

CASE STUDY OF CHANGE IN WELDING PARAMETERS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MAGNETIC FIELD. - MR.SUNIL KUMAR ,Associate professor,SLIET	Sep, 2011 - Present
This project includes the case study of the changes in welding parameters of mild steel specimen through the MIG welding process.The changes in metal deposition rate,bead geometry of the specimen when passed through a magnetic field set up and also checking the changes in strength by the different tensile testing methods is to be performed.
MICROSTRUCTURE TESTING AND VARIATION IN WELD BEAD GEOMETRY. - DR.A.S.SHAHI,Associate Professor ,SLIET	Feb, 2009 - May, 2009
In this project I carried out the welding process on mild steel specimens at different current and voltage.Then the grinding along with the lapping process was performed and the changes in the weld metal,base metal and heat affected zone was studied using a microscope.
